Watershed management is a term used to describe the process of implementing land use practices and water management practices to protect and improve the quality of water and other natural resources within a watershed by managing the use of land and water resources in a comprehensive manner. Runoff from rainwater or melting of snow can contribute significant amount of pollution into lakes or rivers. Watershed management helps to control pollution of water and other natural resources in the watershed by identifying different kinds of pollution present and how those pollutants are transported, and recommending ways to reduce or eliminate those pollution sources. At BCPL we are providing the services of watershed management to our client.
